Our Location

Our historic inn is located just four short blocks from the Plaza, in a quiet residential neighborhood, but still in the very heart of downtown. A majority of Santa Fe's finest galleries, shops and restaurants are all within walking distance. And there's no need to worry about your car even at the height of the season, as parking is provided free of charge.

Directions from Albuquerque

Take 1-25 north 60 miles to the St. Francis exit in Santa Fe. After 3 miles on St. Francis, turn right on Cerrillos Rd., then after 3 blocks, make a left on Guadalupe. Go through the intersection at Alameda 2 more blocks to Johnson. Turn right, then left on Chapelle. The inn is at the next intersection of Chapelle and McKenzie.

Deposit & Cancellation Policies

For vacation rental units, please note the application of the cleaning fee, typically $20 per night ($35 for larger homes) and a minimum of $60 for shorter stays.  In ALL units we assume double occupancy and charge an extra $25 for additional guests (except two-bedrooms, where 4 guests is the norm). Seasonal specials (which reduce the rates displayed on the availability chart) are available by clicking the "Specials" link. Simply write the special rate requested in the "Comments/Requests" section of our online booking form. Multiple discounts cannot be combined!!!

Room rates for B&B rooms include a delicious full breakfast (served between 8:30 and 9:30AM), use of all common areas, wireless internet and parking. All rooms, units and common areas are non-smoking, and pets are allowed in selected units.

Two night minimum stays are typically (but not always) required on weekends during high season, and additional minimum stays may also apply for holidays and special events. Indian Market is a four-night minimum (unless filling a "hole") Call for info.

At our option, we may require a deposit to confirm a reservation, but usually a credit card is sufficient. When the total for a stay exceeds certain limits or is for multiple rooms or during peak periods, the deposit must be paid via check. The deposit must be received within 7 working days of making your reservation. For your convenience you may secure your reservation with a credit card at the time you make your reservation, while the check is "in the mail:)" Your balance, plus taxes, is due upon check-in. If you cancel at least 15 days before your arrival date we will refund your deposit, less a $25 handling fee.

Cancellations between 14 and 8 days before your arrival date will be charged a fee equal to one nights stay (per room booked), unless we can rebook the room (s), in which case we will refund the charge and your deposit, less the handling fee. Cancellations within 7 days or less before your arrival date will be charged the full price of the reservation unless we rebook all or part of the stay, in which case we will refund the amount received in the rebooking.
Late arrivals and early departures will be charged for their fully reserved stay.

Indian Market is an exception as we require a 30-day cancellation notice, a 4-night minimum, and a 30% deposit. You will receive a full refund if you cancel outside of 30 days.

  • We accept Visa, MasterCard, personal and travelers checks, money orders, and cash. Appropriate fees will apply to credit card declines and check returns.

  • Sales and lodger's taxes are not included in the rates.
  • Fully licensed and insured.
  • No pets permitted at Adobe Abode (Sorry!). Other units of ours are pet friendly!
