Every other year several cousins from Texas, Oklahoma, and California gather to renew family relationships. This year we met in Santa Fe at the Adobe Star Properties - Adobe Abode and had a wonderful time. We were the only group at the Inn and had the run of the place. It felt as if we were in someone's home without having the responsibility of food and cleanup. Aside from the homey and comfortable feel, my most memorable experience was Valerie, the inn keeper. She met us when we arrived and made us feel very welcome and checked on us frequently. We had a couple of problems, one cousin with an illness, which Valerie helped us with immediately. I can't brag on her enough. Thank you, Valerie, for going above and beyond, providing us with a wonderful experience. I will definitely visit again.

To that end, we are currently in the process of refreshing rooms, updating and restoring each accommodation. If anything is less than satisfactory - please let us know personally so we may attend to it right away.

"I just spent 5 days at the Adobe Abode in Santa Fe. It was a wonderful place for the 7 of us who live in 4 different states to gather for "Cousins Weekend"! It was such fun at night to go back and sit in the living room and talk into the wee hours!

There was a jar always filled with gingersnap cookies! The rooms weregreat; super comfy beds and all the amenities, including robes, were in
all the rooms. Each room was so cleverly decorated. The breakfasts were out of this world! We would love it if they wrote Adobe Abode cookbook!
The location is also perfect, an easy walk to downtown and the shops and restaurants. The neighborhood is very quiet and it's was a lovely stroll to and from the plaza. We would all go back in a heartbeat!"
